Clara's first Hair Cut!

Super Bowl Party Pictures!

We went to a Super Bowl Party at Ashley and Travis' house. The kids had a great time playing outside and getting very dirty. I didn't see any of the game until we got home. Clara was really tired and told us she was ready to go home which is odd for her. She was a sleep within mins. of being in the car. We all had a nice time enjoyed eachothers company and ate lots of good food.

Clara had her first hair cut yesterday. She thought that was exciting. My friend came over to cut and color mine and cut a few of the little girls hair too. Clara sat very still and watched in the mirror. She watched me get color and told me how pretty it was. Clara's hair looks very cute! She even let me put rubber bands in it for a while today. She wore her Valentine's Dress to playgroup.

It has been snowing for a little while so went out out to play. Clara had fun eatting the snow and running. I think the best part was jumping some rain puddles. We played until she got cold then came in to enjoy Hot Cocoa. Then off to a nap. I told her it was just like Curious George in her favorite episode. SHe thought that was neat. It was fun being outside and hearing all the neighbor kids playing. They canceled school last night. So all the kids are home from Atlanta to Savannah to AL. People go crazy here when it snows. After playgroup we went to lunch and it started to snow then I needed to go to the store, but didn't due to people not knowing how to drive here when it snows. I had a race to do in the morning but they cancelled it this afternoon due to snow. So I guess I'll have to get up and do a long run on my own. Oh well.

Brian has been studing for his rank test next Friday. He has been at home with us all week and I have been trying not to bother him. I know I'll be glad when it is over so I can only imagine how he feels. So he is going to study all weekend so I think Clara and I are going to spend Valentine's Day with a friend who husband is at a training school. Then we'll make Brian something nice for dinner. I think Spicy Chicken Bulgogi. I miss the Koren House. I hope it turns out as well as I like it!

Clara's 2nd Birthday

Clara had an exciting birthday. We had a lot of visitors. My Mom came in and shortly after that my Grandma came too. We went to the Children's Museum in Atlanta. Clara loved playing with all the neat things they had there. We baked some goodies before Great Grandma came and Clara enjoyed eating the flour I am sure she was hoping it was sugar. We went out to eat a few times and did some shopping. We went to Lane's and had some great ice cream. Clara put salt in hers.

Then the day before Clara's birthday Brian's Mom, Dad, and Sister came to visit too. Clara had a special lunch and dinner. I made her a Little Mermaid cake. Then on Sat. she had a party with her friends. I think all the princesses had a great time. Clara has been singing Happy Birthday to herself for well over a week now.

All of our family has went home and it is pretty quiet here. I am sure most of you know the first few days after family leaves is lonely. Clara thought it was pretty neat that Nana and Great Grandma were on a plane yesterday. She has asked where everyone is at. Now she just says the name and went home. We are looking forward to seeing my family in May for Casey and Milly's graduation and Brian's parents in March.

We have been outside a lot today. The rest of the week it is supose to be rainy. I am running a half at Tybee Island this weekend. I am looking forward to it. I just hope the rain stops before Sat. I know Brian is looking forward to getting up at 3:30am so we can drive there...
