Clara had a wonderful Gymnastics recital. It was a circus theme. Clara's part was a Treat girl they yelled peanuts, popcorn, cotton candy. She did a great job. She jumped over buckets, did cartwheels, back bends, and a trick on the high bar. Some of the other acts were trained dogs, bears, tight rope walkers and many others. We are going to get a copy of the DVD. Can't wait to watch it again. She said her highlight was getting a balloon. She also said the best part of t-ball the other night was watching the ants.
Clara did a kids run on Sat. on base. she ran 1/2 mile with her Daddy. Calvin and I ran the 5k.
Since the Grandma are in town we took Clara to get her ears pierced. She had been asking for a while. She was excited and did great no tears. She picked out some flower ones. They are very cute. She also wanted some clip in hair pieces that were multi-colored. Kind of funny I thought since she is only three.
Calvin had his surgery yesterday. We had to be there by 5:30 am. He did great for not eating for 12 hours. The surgeon said the mass was 4cm by 6cm and 4cm deep. He thought it looked bigger than it did last month. The surgery took 1.5 hours. He recovered great we left the hospital around 11. Calvin slept off and on most of the day. He has seemed to be in pain. He slept through the night. The first time a few weeks. Today he has been rolling around the living room and trying to scoot. He seems very happy. He has been eating good too. Thank you for all the phone calls and e-mails. It means a lot to us.
