The pictures are very out of order. I am not sure what happened. Sorry if they appear twice. I tried to delete as many as I could that I found.

We went to KY for Christmas. We all enjoyed our visit. We did many things like visiting Entertrainment which the kids didn't want to leave. They had many train displays, a fun house, and Santa. Calvin tried running through the house of mirrors and it didn't work well for him. He ran into the mirrors really hard. They both cried when we left because they didn't want to leave. We also saw Duke's Christmas display of trains. By the time we saw all these trains Clara said she had seen enough. I am sure Calvin could look at trains all day and still play trains when he gets home.

We celebrated Grandma Rosemary's Birthday on Christmas Eve. We made her a yarn Wreath. When she opened it she wasn't sure what it was and asked if we wanted her to make us something with it.I thought she was funny!

We spent Christmas Day in our PJs and watched the kids play with their toys. Calvin got the helicopter he really wanted. He tries to sleep with it which doesn't turn out well. Clara got a bike and many other great things. She loves her Hello Kitty Blanket as Calvin loves his Train blanket Aunt Colleen got for them. Clara put their blankets on their beds when we got home. 

It snowed in KY before we left and the kids had fun building snowmen with Grandma Karen. The same day we had our Family Christmas party and the kids enjoyed the evening with their cousins.

Last night we got 6-7 inches of snow and we all played outside for about two hours. Calvin and I went sledding in the back. Brian and Clara worked on a fort in the front. We will have to try to finish it tomorrow. We did lots of shoveling to find the driveway and the sidewalk. We had plenty of help!

We had a great Christmas but ten days before was difficult for us. I was nine weeks pregnant and went to the doctor for a normal check up and the baby no longer had a heartbeat. The following day I had a D&C. It was really difficult for us and I still struggle with it.We were showed with food from all of our friends which made us feel very loved! The following day my Great Aunt passed away. We were able to attend her funeral and see lots of my family in IL. It was nice that we were able to drive there since it was only four hours from Brian's parents. They were able to keep the kids so we could go.

We look forward to the New Year and all the Surprises it holds for US!
