Brian bought an outdoor blow up for the yard to add to his lights this year. The kids really like it! In GA we use to drive by one house all the time that had the same one.
Daddy putting up lights in the cold!
We added Ralphie to our home!
The family's early Christmas gift. Clara has always wanted a cat and I found one free on base. Maybe I should have got one from a shelter so it wouldn't be so pricey to neuter, but we love him. He is really good with the kids. He was fours months when we got him. We are his third family. He had been passed around a few times on base.
Daddy took him to the vet for shots and this is how he came in the door. Too cute!
We all love him even Jasmine. They play at night when the kids are asleep.
Calvin helping with Christmas lights!
The USO Christmas Party. It was a great free event for the Military. Our kids had a great time.
Clara making a pine cone Christmas tree.
Face painting. Calvin doesn't like standing in lines so he didn't get one.
Watching a movie while Clara was being face painted.
Mrs. Claus and the kids.Clara is holding a pillow she made. She didn't want to let go of it.
Calvin was trying to share his candy cane with Santa. He told Santa he wanted a helicopter for Christmas. Clara has a long drawn out list.. roller skates a skate board, a baby that eats food..... I don't think Santa is bring any of the crazy stuff.
Making ornaments while Daddy worked at the Soup kitchen in Boston.
Car painting. Take a car and drive it in paint and race it on paper. They thought it was great.
Washing their cars. Not sure which was better.
Another wreath I made.. Well Brian put it together. I gathered the materials from the neighbors and showed Brian a picture. Another free wreath.
Hawaiian Christmas Social Housing Hosted today. The kids look like I made them take a picture with Santa. No smiles. They wanted to go and were excited. They told Santa everything they wanted. Santa told Clara she needed to be a good little girl...
It has a been a busy few weeks trying to prepare fir Christmas. We are going to KY to spend Christmas this year. We are going to have Ralphie neutered and declawed there since it is crazy here. They needed blood work to proved he didn't have cat AIDS and cat leukemia. The price was super high for the whole thing close to 400 dollars without declawing. In KY we can have both done for 240.
We love Ralphie he likes to play when the kids go to bed or when Clara is at School. The kids love him. He is really sweet.
Brian worked the Soup Kitchen in Boston this Sunday. He had some interesting stories. I thought it was great that most of the people eating told him thanking for helping and serving their dinner.
Brian was nominated for NCO of the quarter at work. We are proud of him. He tests for his next rank this spring.
Clara is doing swim lessons and really enjoying it. She is going to start 4-H next month. I think she will enjoy it. She loves going to school!
Calvin is beginning to talk a lot more. It is cute to hear his voice and all the things he has to say. He will still begin to meet with a Speak Pathologist starting in January to keep improving. He will also be able to do a mini-preschool through the program once a week for an hour. I think it will love it and grow a lot from the experience. He still loves trains and makes all the sounds a train does!
I have still been doing my stroller Class with Calvin. I love all the great women I have met and enjoy having people to work out with. We are doing it indoors now since the weather has gotten cooler.
Have a Merry Christmas!! I will get my Christmas cards sent out soon! They are addressed and ready to go.
