Camping

We went camping at Fort McAllister State Park. The first day we set up our tent and camp. Clara seemed a little hesitant and stayed real close to us. She went wild when she saw a squirrel. Then she was really excited that night when a raccoon came to visit and I was making weird noises to scary it away. Clara just laughed.

Then the next day was cloudy. We went running then ate and showered. I showered with a tree frog. It scared me when I opened my eyes and there he was. Then we went to Tybee Island. It was too windy and cold really to get into the water, so we collected shells. I think the funniest part was when we tried to eat our lunch and we got sand blasted. We ate our sandy sandwiches. That night the raccoon came back while we were roasting marshmallows. Then stayed around to dig in our trash. Clara wanted to know where the raccoon went when we were in our tent. I told her he went to go find yummies. She kept asking about the squirrels and raccoons.

The third day we went back to Tybee Island and Brian found a new spot to go swim. It was nice. It had a sand bar which prevented the waves and it was still near the waves so we could do both. Clara and Brian made me into a mermaid. Brian got a back weird sun burn. I guess he needed help putting sun block on but Clara was running towards the water so he didn't get much help from me. Clara fed the birds some of her sandwich. She loved the birds swarming her. I wanted them to take a hike. Then we ate at the Crab Shack on the way back to camp. Clara loved the cats they have there. We got a specialty plate there with crawfish, mussels shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn. It was good. Clara loved the corn she ate it right off the cob.

Clara didn't want to come home she loved camping!!

So, Brian had to come home to be able to eat sand. Nice!
